Tuesday

The day after Monday....Tuesday...a blah kinda day usually.

Monday is get hubby back to work day, get laundry done day, etc.

Tuesday nothing special is ever planned.

I called a good friend today to let her know I mailed her a surprise.

I made her a round ripple afghan.

She gave me some yarn last time we went to see her. Let me elaborate....Some?? try the backseat of the crew cab pickup FULL of bags and boxes of yarn!

So I took some of it and made her a huge round ripple afghan

I do hope she will like it. that photo is of it laying on my King size bed.

Last night I got the idea (brilliant? umm nope) to make crochet pumpkins for our trick-or-treaters. So off I go to buy orange yarn (I didn't have any). buy 2 skeins. Come home, start crocheting. Now to decide, do I leave them empty and stuff with candy or stuff with fiberfill and sew closed to make a "ball"?

Long Day

Today was a very long tiring day. We held a yard sale. Had to get up early to go to the storage unit to bring everything back here, unpack it all, set it all up and be ready to sell at 10AM...
Well we did not make it. We were still setting up about 10:30

all in all it was a good day. I sold 6 crochet potholders, one crochet plastic bag holder and one crochet butterfly refrigerator magnet as well as about half of the angels we had to sell.

Will have to have another sale in the spring, but for now, it is all back in storage and back to looking for things to crochet.

Rainy Day Blahs

We wanted to get Halloween decorations out today and woke up to rain!
So much for decorating today. we are running out of time.

Tomorrow is yard sale day. We have a storage unit full of stuff to get rid of. Guess maybe we will decorate while yardsaling.

Will start working on a new crochet market bag since it is too wet to do anything outside. The market bags seem to be popular. Either that or I'll make more dishcloths to sell tomorrow.

New to Blogs

Well, just starting this, seems kinda silly to me.
But so many others I know have a "blog" to share their completed craft projects and their life with others.
So thought I would try it, and see how it goes.
Not much interesting ever really happens in my day to day, except for crocheting.
